Company Owner



Fresh out of high school, Jason quickly learnt what hard work was all about when he took on a fencing job with one of New Zealand’s most respected and decorated Golden Pliers winning fencing contractors in the King Country. This installed the work ethics and attention to detail that Svensson Construction Ltd prides themselves on to this day. After moving to Hawkes Bay in 2004, with his now wife Vikki, Jason ventured into fencing and landscaping where he covered everything from farm fencing, residential fencing, decks, retaining walls, pergola’s, raised gardens etc. The only thing left to achieve was to construct the house so that is what he did! Since completing his carpentry apprenticeship in 2013 and becoming a Licensed Building Practitioner Jason is now also a Registered Master Builder.

Administration



Behind the scenes, ensuring everything is kept in order, is Jason's wife Vikki. With a background in administration, financial budgeting and farm planning working for one of New Zealand's largest Agribusinesses, Vikki and Jason are a solid team ensuring every build project, big or small, runs smoothly. To make life a little busier and a lot more enjoyable, their two young children, Indie and Cameron, have doubled the work force over recent years! ​
